Classes

In addition to the official classes, the puppy, breeder and progeny class, as well as the unofficial Sohvachampion class, are judged at the show. Written critique will be given in all classes.

• Puppy class 5 to under 7 months
• Puppy class 7 to under 9 months
• Junior class 9 to under 18 months
• Intermediate class 15 to under 24 months
• Open class 15 months onwards
• Champion class 15 months onwards
• Veteran class 8 years onwards
• Breeders class
• Progeny class
• Unofficial Sohvachampion* class 9 months onwards

*In unofficial Sohvachampion class can participate all registered Shetland Sheepdogs which are not attending to official classes for example because erect ears, incorrect color, abnormal testicle or too large size.

Please notice, when entering to a show, the exhibitor undertakes to follow the valid Show Regulations and Vaccination Instructions of the Finnish Kennel Club.

Entry and entry fees

The last day for entries is 15.3.2023.

• Adults 38 €, second etc. dog of the same owner 35 €
• Puppies 30 €
• Veterans (8-10 years) 30 €
• Veterans (Over 10 years) 10 €
• Sohvachampion 20€

Entries for the official classes: Either at online entry (you will have a confirmation email sent by online system within an hour after successful entry) or by mail (download entry form here): Tarja Ihalainen, Peningintie 452, 44920 Peninki, Finland.

Entries for the Sohvachampion: Only online entries are accepted.

*Payment to unofficial sohvachampion class: Savo-Karjalan Sheltit ry, IBAN FI46 5324 0940 0297 29, reference: “Sohvachampion” and dog name. Please attach receipt of payment to the online form.

If the show has to be canceled due to the corona pandemic, the entry fees will be refunded but the show committee will deduct 5 € / dog as a handling fee.
